About

AdOps Toolkit is built and maintained by a programmatic ad operations specialist working on the DSP and curation side of the industry. The day job is campaign trafficking, curation deal setup, reporting APIs and the troubleshooting that fills the gaps between them — which is where this site came from.

Why it exists

The small checks in ad ops are scattered. Working out an effective CPM, confirming a publisher's ads.txt is valid, checking whether a flight is pacing, reading a VAST error code — each of those lives on a different website, most of them built for a different audience, several of them abandoned. This is an attempt to put the ones I reach for most into a single place that loads fast and does not ask anyone to sign up.

How the tools are kept correct

Every calculator shows the formula it uses, and the formulas are covered by unit tests rather than trusted to look right. Every validator names the specification and version it checks against, with a link to the primary source. Reference pages carry the date they were last verified. Where a metric is genuinely ambiguous in practice — what counts as a view, which impressions belong in a fill rate — the page says so rather than picking a definition silently.

If something here is wrong, telling me is genuinely the most useful thing you can do. Corrections get made quickly, and the pages carry the date so you can see when they were last checked.
